5 tips to stop worrying about everything and live every day to the fullest
We deal with details and unimportant things on a daily basis and we occupy our minds often unnecessarily, because we have so many responsibilities and demands on our shoulders, which we try to solve or arrange in time and with grace.
However, worrying too much can have a negative impact on our mental and physical well-being.
If you want to relieve yourself and learn strategies to help you from the stress and the daily roller coaster that makes you break down, read the following very simple points to improve.
1. Mindful meditation (Mindfulness)
A short mindful meditation can help you recognize your thoughts and feelings without judgment. Practicing mindfulness allows you to observe your worries without giving in to them.
Through regular meditation, you can stay in the present moment and reduce anxiety over time.
2. Set aside "Worry Time"
Set aside a specific time each day, preferably in the early evening, to attend to your worries.
Allow yourself to think about your worries during this designated time (e.g. 15-30 min). When the time is up, consciously switch your attention to more positive or productive activities. This technique can quell worries and prevent everything from piling up on you during the day.
3. Challenge negative thoughts
Pay attention to the thoughts that trigger your fears and assess their validity.
Are your fears based on facts or assumptions?
Try to challenge irrational thoughts and replace them with more realistic and positive ones. Cognitive behavioural therapy techniques can be particularly helpful in this regard.
4. Practice relaxation techniques
Incorporate relaxation techniques such as deep breathing exercises, progressive muscle relaxation, or yoga into your daily routine. These methods prevent excess storage of anxiety in our minds and hearts, and we feel we can handle worries more easily or resolve them more quickly.
5. Prioritize and organize
Create a to-do list or use a planner to organize your tasks and responsibilities.
Prioritize your tasks based on their importance and deadlines. Having a clear plan and structure can reduce anxiety about forgetting or neglecting responsibilities.
Break down more challenging tasks into smaller, manageable steps to make them less overwhelming.
Remember, every little step towards your goal is a success.

There is no shame in this - think of yourself and your comfort or health!
